Once upon a time, in the midst of a pandemic, a little girl named Amina stumbled upon a hula hooping video on YouTube. She was only 3 and a half years old, but her eyes lit up with excitement as she watched the colorful hoop swirling around the dancer’s waist.
Without hesitation, Amina begged her parents to buy her a hula hoop, and soon enough, she started trying to spin it on her own. As her parents saw her growing interest, they searched for an online academy to nurture her newfound passion, and that’s how they found HoopStar Academy.
From YouTube Curiosity to Real Hula Hoop Skills
Since then, Amina’s hooping journey has been a joyous ride filled with hard work and perseverance. Although her twin brother preferred online games, Amina found her calling in active activities like dancing, jumping, and hula hooping. She loved the freedom and expression that came with hooping, and after attending classes at HoopStar Academy, she started trying many varieties of hooping like hand hooping, elbow hoop, arm hoop, and knee hoop, in addition to the hip.
Amina’s hooping skills improved with time, and she was soon able to impress her teachers at her online school in India. But it was her determination and grit that truly made her shine. She knew that the key to mastering any skill was perseverance, and she kept at it even when she struggled in the beginning.
Learning New Tricks with Her HoopStar Teacher
When she joined HoopStar Academy, she was excited to learn new tricks and asked her teacher about hand hooping. With the guidance of her teacher, she quickly learned the skill, and soon she was doing dance steps with the hoop on.
Hula hooping not only gave Amina a positive outlet for her physical activity and health but also impacted her mental well-being. It kept her active during her free time and allowed her to express herself creatively.
Perseverance Pays Off: Amina’s Proudest Moment
As her parents prepared to relocate from India to Abu Dhabi, Amina was getting ready for her KG graduation, where she planned to show off her hooping skills. Her proudest hooping achievement was mastering the skill with such ease after regular practice. Amina’s advice to other kids interested in hula hooping is to persevere and keep trying, and who knows, they too might find a new passion just like she did!
Amina’s story is a tale of perseverance and joy, of a little girl who found a love for hooping and never gave up on it. It’s a reminder that with hard work and determination, anyone can achieve their dreams and find happiness in the journey.
