Mission
Craft thumb‑stopping videos, thumbnails, and static visuals that make kids—and their parents—smile, click, and enrol—fast.
Role Overview
Based in our Pune (Wakad) office, you will edit & produce videos (Reels, Shorts, promos) and design graphics (static/carousel posts, thumbnails, ad creatives). You’ll partner with our Social‑Media Coordinator and report directly to the Founder, turning raw footage and briefs into on‑brand content that drives enrollments and engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Video Editing & Motion Graphics:
- Edit color‑graded, engaging 15–60 sec Reels/Shorts from UGC and instructor footage.
- Add branded intros/outros, lower thirds, captions, and simple animations.
- Optimise exports for Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, and WhatsApp.
- Graphic Design:
- Create static and carousel posts: infographics, memes, “before & after” visuals.
- Design eye‑catching YouTube thumbnails, story templates, ad banners, blog images.
- Maintain and evolve our brand asset library (logos, colour palette, typography).
- Template & Workflow Management:
- Build and maintain Canva/Figma templates for repeatable content batches.
- Use AI tools (Descript, Runway ML, Firefly, ChatGPT prompts) to speed drafts.
- Batch‑export and resize assets via scripts or design‑tool plugins.
- Collaboration & QC:
- Coordinate with marketing & sales to schedule and quality‑check all posts.
- Ensure every asset meets brand guidelines, aspect ratios, and platform specs.
- Process Documentation:
- Document video/design workflows: templates, naming conventions, versioning.
- Record short screen‑capture tutorials for key processes to train future team members.
Qualifications
- Must‑Have:
- 1+ years’ hands‑on experience in video editing and graphic design for social media.
- Proficient in Premiere Pro or Final Cut or CapCut; After Effects or Motion; Canva/Figma; Photoshop/Illustrator.
- Portfolio showcasing short‑form video edits **and** static social‑media graphics.
- Familiar with AI acceleration tools such as Descript, Runway ML, Firefly, and ChatGPT.
- Excellent time‑management and organisational skills in a fast‑paced office setting.
- Keen eye for colour, typography, and motion trends.
- Strong, proactive communicator comfortable with rapid feedback loops.
- Nice‑to‑Have:
- Experience with children’s brands or educational content.
- Basic audio mixing skills (Audacity, Adobe Audition).
- Familiarity with social‑media scheduling/analytics tools (Hootsuite, Buffer, Later).
- Understanding of performance metrics and A/B thumbnail testing.
